THE VISION

We see a future where people are not just living to survive, but operating through the overflow of their transformative identity, giving way to compassion to help others.

HOW WE DEFINE THE ORPHAN

An orphan is defined as a child deprived by death of one or both parents -or- one deprived of some protection or advantage. At Project Orphans, we believe the orphan is a child or human who has no identity or relationship with the Lord. There is only one Heavenly Father that can heal and fill the heart.

Our goal is to meet the needs of the orphan in a physical, emotional, & spiritual manner. We help people who have no identity heal, gain a family that loves and cares for them, and help them to know their God-given purpose.

Our Village

Did you know Project Orphans is not an orphanage? We are a village in Zirobwe, Uganda that meets the needs of those in poverty. We equip communities to care for the vulnerable and the orphan.

We believe that children of all ages do best in a family setting versus an institutionalized orphanage. When a child is brought to our organization, we work to have him or her placed into a loving foster home as quickly as possible.

Our full-circle approach is an ongoing commitment to break the cycle of selfless survival and empower a world of compassion. Our village not only cares for the orphan and marginalized, but works to prevent orphans by providing medical, birthing, and spiritual care.
