At Project Orphans, we welcome people from all walks of life, religions, and backgrounds! We passionately serve our community to ensure that the forgotten have a place to belong and deserve to live in peace—in both mind and heart.
After a time of civil war, we planted our roots in a forgotten community in Luwero District, Uganda. Since then, Project Orphans has worked to help victims overcome trauma, depression, and their fears through counseling and spiritual encouragement.
Oasis Church was launched to help unite the community, improve people’s quality of life, and spread love to the people who live in our remote communities surrounding our campus. The Oasis team helps provide social services, counseling, spiritual development, and community support with the aim to help heal the hurting and restore identity.
Project Orphans offers marital, family, and individual counseling to help individuals find peace and healing. We believe that through counseling services people can overcome trauma and move forward in their journey of life.
Our children and youth program, Kids on the Move—Uganda, offers children of all ages the opportunity to discover God’s love, grow in faith, and find their true talents so they can help serve in their community!
Women have influence. The Oasis Sisterhood is a ministry of Oasis Church that mobilizes young-women to unite and learn their value, worth, and identity in Christ. The Oasis Sisterhood offers women a place to share, feel, and unite.
Every month, the Project Orphan’s staff and members from Oasis Church serve in the local communities to meet the needs of their neighbors, demonstrate compassion, and show how much God values their life!
Meet Olivia & Issac
Olivia and Issac’s mother was skeptical and concerned about having her teenage kids attend Oasis Church on our campus at Pearl Village — but reluctantly allowed them to attend our youth outreach program and Sunday service.
Olivia and Issac, quickly became very active youth members at Oasis by joining the choir! After a few months had passed, our Oasis Care team visited Olivia and Isaac’s home and quickly their mother expressed how grateful she was for the mentorship her children had received.
“I was against the kids going," said the mother. “But today I am so grateful! My children have grown so much and now have such great values.” Issac and Olivia’s mother was so overjoyed that she gave the Oasis team food from her garden!
